German Catholics Publish Book Defending Sodomy - a Russian Orthodox Response [1]

In Germany, a book was published about the Roman Catholic Church's recognition of sexual perversion as a norm. In Russia, Orthodox activists have pointed out that this position contradicts Christianity.

The authors of the Telegram channel "Sons of Monarchy" reacted [2] to a book published in Germany by Catholic priests in which proponents of various sexual perversions talk about their experiences with God.

The authors of the book also believe that the Roman Catholic Church, which has rejected queer people for years, owes them an apology and an acceptance into its fold. The book claims that supposedly "God and the Church should accept everyone without exception, regardless of their sexual orientation or one of the 50 non-biological genders."

"Sons of the Monarchy" points out that Catholic sodomites reformers miss two important points:

First, the rules of the Church are not set by men, but by the Lord God. Jesus Christ and his holy apostles were very clear and straightforward in their attitude toward sodomy: "Thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman: it is an abomination" (Lev. 18:22).

"Their women replaced their natural use with unnatural use; likewise men, leaving the natural use of the female sex, kindled lust on one another, men on men making shame and receiving in themselves the due vengeance for their error" (Rom. 1:26-27)," the authors of  the article also remind.

The authors remind us that people who live in sodomy will not enter the kingdom of heaven: "Do not be deceived - neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners - will inherit the Kingdom of God" (1 Cor. 6:9-10).

The second error of the Catholic Reformed Sodomites is that the believer has no right to twist the Church in his own way, but "must himself take upon himself the vows and commandments of Christianity, that he may inherit the kingdom of God.

Being a Christian is a work in progress, not an attempt to reform the Church and biblical laws.

"Sons of Monarchy" emphasizes: "And why at all with your non-binary sodomite charter to pry into someone else's cisgender monastery?"

It is noted that Russian Orthodoxy perfectly understands what has been forgotten in modern Catholicism and Protestantism: "As the Lord commanded us 2000 years ago, so we live."

The authors note that the Orthodox are gaining "a huge field for our missionary and soft power work," since it is unlikely that true believing Western Christians agree with same-sex marriages and priests giving communion to non-binary queer polyamorous people and other critters.

"And we are waiting for them to be with us, in the Eastern Church of Christ," the Sons of Monarchy noted.

Mikhail Tyurenkov, head of Tsargrad's ideological editorial board, commented on the statement by the Sons of Monarchy:

Back in the middle of the last century, no one in the major Protestant denominations, Lutheranism and Anglicanism, could imagine that in just a few decades, lesbian "priestesses" would "marry" same-sex couples in their churches.

Tyurenkov notes that the same vector has already been established in the Roman Catholic Church, whose "pontiff," Pope Francis, conservative Catholics firmly assert, is a protege of the Vatican "homosexual mafia" that forced conservative Pope Benedict XVI to abdicate in 2013.

As the First Russian columnist noted, "The perverted lobby is especially strong among German Catholics. Thus, according to some reports, more than 2,600 German Catholic clerics and parishioners signed a petition demanding a blessing for same sex marriages. And Georg Betzing, head of the German Bishops' Conference, stated that the Vatican was "closing itself off from progress" and that it would ignore the existing ban on blessing LGBT unions in its "pastoral practice". And there is no clear opposition to such statements from Pope Francis.

Unfortunately, one conclusion is inescapable: if the current vector persists, the Roman Catholic Church will essentially become a liberal Protestant denomination like Lutheranism and Anglicanism in the coming decades. And a significant portion of Catholics will move away from such a false church,

- Michael Tyurenkov emphasizes.

He believes that it is still a big question whether they will join the Orthodox Church.

"It's no secret that liberal tendencies have recently intensified in Orthodoxy as well. And the actions of Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, who claims to be the "pan-Orthodox pope," is the clearest example of this," noted the observer of Tsargrad.

Yes, the bastion of the Russian Orthodox Church is still standing, but even among its clergy there are sometimes liberal and renegade clerics. That is why the sad examples of Western Christianity, which often can no longer be called Christianity, should teach us, Russian Orthodox people, to be especially vigilant in spiritual matters.
